Sarah is Caillou's next door neighbor, and one of his close friends. She first appeared in the episode "Caillou Goes Around the Block". Sarah is in first grade, and in one episode, Caillou went to school with her. She visited China in "Sarah goes on a vacation". She is of Chinese ethnicity, and celebrated Chinese New Year in "Chinese Day". She owns a cat and a dog. Her cat is Ollie; her dog is a Vizsla named Murphy.
In "Caillou's New Adventures", Sarah seems to have been aged down—she's no longer a few years older than Caillou, but now presumably the same age/around 4-5, as she is seen in the same class as him.
She is the daughter of Luclan and Shang.
Personality[]
Sarah is a kind and good-natured friend to Caillou, and also a bit of a tomboy.
Sarah's best friend is Caillou, even though he is younger than her. She also serves as a mentor to Caillou. Sarah has even stated that he is the closest thing to a little brother for her. Sarah loves Caillou deeply. While she is very caring towards Caillou, she has gotten annoyed with him occasionally, most notably in "Caillou's Snowman" when she gets upset at Caillou constantly throwing snowballs at her and almost leaves to go home.
Physical appearance[]
She is a young girl with short black hair, and wears a yellow button front dress with red elbow-length sleeves, collar and pockets, red socks, green and yellow sneakers.
